Above is a discussion about Hurdat and the best track committee but there are many technnical things that the average member dont understand.If the pro mets that we have here can step in and comment about this to see if there is anything important in those discussions it will be apreciated.

Looks like they are just saying to use the HURDAT data file on the NHC page rather than the HRD page. Also that the data is only every six hours so changes in between are not seen. In cases of landfall etc in the JMA best track for instance then additional best track points are put in but this is not the case here.
