"As all Floridians know, the real three steps for disaster preparation are: 1) amassing enough plywood and shingles to replace your house; 2) driving to Ohio to drink beer for three days with your friends; and 3) ignoring everything FEMA tells you.
The DVD consists of seven segments: 1) getting informed (watching TV until you’re thoroughly terrorized); 2) making a plan (let’s stay home this hurricane and watch “Getting Ready for Disaster”); 3) assembling a disaster supplies kit (how much beer is in the fridge?); 4) food and water in an emergency (what kind of beer goes with Spaghetti-Os?); 5) helping children cope with disaster (if you kids don’t shut up I’m going to make you watch “Getting Ready for Disaster”); 6) disability and special needs populations (he’s emotionally destroyed — he tried to get a blue tarp from FEMA!); and 7) getting involved — Citizens Corps (the people who won’t give you a blue tarp).
