Special outlook from NOAA: weak La Nina followed by neutral

NOAA has released a new special outlook for the long-term patterns. They are expecting the weak La Nina to stick around, slowly weakening/changing over to neutral by the summer. They say current long-term pattern suggest a moderating over to neutral conditions by the heart of the 2006 Atlantic Hurricane Season. This means that we may see a pattern between 2004 and years like 1996/1998/1999. What are your thoughts? That's what I thought about La Nina to Neutral conditions. If you said El Nino conditions that would of been funny. :lol:

This "joke" really is not a joke at all as la nina may in fact switch over to neutral by mid season.

actually i wish this was a joke because some of u guys probably dont understand this is exactly what might happen!i say about 80% we get into neutral conditions by early august. :eek:
