Ive been reading stuff on possible attempts of getting rid of hurricanes people think of... I must say that reading those is the biggest waste of time Ive ever seen...but ya, even if they do find a way to get rid of a hurricane and stop them from even developing...that could put the entire world in choas because it would turn the world's climate upside down...its obvious that the world would get a lot more harm than good out of doing this...to me its just a waste of time and a waste of money...now if they can find a way to get rid of hurricanes without setting the global climate off balance then Im willing to listen...until then I dont care too much about the ideas people come up with

Thats one point I think everyone here can agree on. But there is no way humans get rid of hurricanes.

Exactly. Quick short lived connective pop up showers are a trademark of Tropical and Subtropical Climates, especially Oceanic ones. In addition if it took 8,000 pounds to "wipe out" a small connective cell, just imagine the amount that would be required to destroy even a small hurricane, not only idiotic but economically and temporally (meaning time constraints) unviable to boot

As I mentioned earlier, the entire concept is ridiculous

I bet the thunderstorm just naturally weakened (they make it sound like the powder worked by saying the storm "dissipated" and totally vanished). Just typical Florida thunderstorms... the powder had no effect. Who agrees? In addition, the thunderstorm was a typical short-lived one over water.
