I WOULD HAVE ANSWERED NO SIMPLY BECAUSE THERE IS A TROPICAL CYCLONE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ATLANTIC!

Kind of a tough one because you can see a the tropical storm, but at the same time a trough looks to be over Central Florida, but your right, it certainly doesn't quite look like something you would see in January. All I can say is what an incredible ending to a year, or beginning of a new one? I don't what to think after all this!

I agree. I also voted "no"; because it is not a typical winter scene
with tropical storm in atlantic

I said yes because the half of the picture I can see looks very typical of a winter sat pic. If the TC was there (even though it really doesn't look like a decent TC right now), I'd have said no.
