Are we seeing a precedent for
future seasons or is this a freak of mother nature to pull one out of her ***. This is unbelievable, but I think 2006 will bring more surprises...

I think 2006 will be a very active season, but I don't think it will be as active as this year. I do fear that the landfalls we do have will be quite destructive, as they were this year, but I pray they are few and far between(since we know it is almost impossible for us not to have any landfalls).

2006 could easly come close to 2005. I don't think it will beat it in number but in strength come very close. There will be alot more cape verde storms which means it has a chance of getting a few long tracking Ivan. In which it will likely beat the record for ACE.
I also think that southeastern Florida will see a cat5 this year year.
