In 1994 Alberto which lasted 8 days as a Tropical Cyclone and 31 advisories were written was a slow moving pesky system when it made landfall in the Panhandle of Florida and dumped plenty of rain in Georgia,Alabama and Floridas Panhandle.

In 2000 Alberto was a looong lasting system from the 4th to the 23rd of August in which 78 advisories as a Tropical Cyclone were written for this another pesky Alberto.

Now the question is if the 2006 Alberto will be a long lasted system like the two previous Albertos. The other question is when will the 2006 Alberto form before June 1 or after the season starts officially.
