Are you in a flood prone area?

If not... and if your not in a mobile home or other weak structure, then no.

Definitely not if you are in a sturdy home and your local authorities don't tell you to.

If you are in a mobile home or other structure not anchored to a strong foundation, or in a lower-lying area, you may want to check to see if you should go to a local shelter.

I do hope you took the normal hurricane preparations, like boarding your windows and taking unsecured items indoors? There isn't much time left to prepare for this.

Seriously, where are you going to go at this point that is safer? If you don't feel safe where your at, then go, but you need to decide ASAP.

I'm in Miami too. As long as you're not in an evac. zone, and are in a sturdy building, stay put. They did ask that anyone not in a mobile home or in a low-lying area not evacuate. If you don't feel safe where you're at, ride the storm out with a friend or relative.

Are you in an evacuation zone, and have they called for any evacuations yet in Dade County?

There's a thread here that lists emergency operations centers by county, you might want to check that for Dade County.

Good luck and hang in there. It will be a long night and day for sure. If you need to get to higher ground there is still a little time, but I'd check the advisories asap.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of structure do you live in?

Also, do you have a safe room for tornadoes?

Yes, they have. Low-lying and mobile homes.
