TWC Vs. NHC Question

#1 Postby gatorcane » Fri Oct 21, 2005 5:40 pm

How can the TWC cone of uncertainty be far less than the NHCs? Currently TWC shows Wilma going no further north than Sarasota but the NHC cone extends all the way to the big bend of FL well north of Tampa

I noticed that also at the bar for happy hour. I have come to expect this from that venue. As recent as last night at this hour, Baldy stated that the storm was turning south of Cozumel towards the coast, and would remain inland there for a min. of 48 hrs. And what really pisses you off is that he always has that excitement smile on his puss, like he just got a leg shot from some tall vixen. He just didn't mention it as a possibility...he was insistive to the max. I do not respect them regarding pending tropical situations. TheShrimper. Is it completely inland yet?....I dont think so.
