Who Thinks TD 19 Became A Tropical Storm Yesterday?
Personally, even though the NHC and the models didn't upgrade it, I think TD 19 was a tropical storm yesterday.
Why? Because yesterday it had an impressive presentation on infra-red and visible imagery. It had a good LLC and excellent, deep convection all around and very near or on top of the center. It also had very cold cloudtops, especially near the center. Also, it had an excellent overall shape (a very tight one, typical of a tropical storm). It was looking just TOO GOOD to be only a tropical depression.
Who agrees? I think it should have been upgraded to a tropical storm yesterday, when it had all of those impressive characteristics.

True... I don't think they will upgrade it very quickly - that is, if they do at all. Even if they don't do it immediately, however, I think they should!

True... still, I find it more "complete" if they upgrade TD 19. Also, it is my personal opinion.
If they upgrade, in order to avoid possibly messing up the future storms temporarily, it might be best to do it sooner before TD 20 becomes Stan or Tammy (if they upgrade TD 19 to Stan).
