Tornado on ground northwest of New Orleans

Radio reporting a tornado was seen near town of Gonzalez, on ground.

Tornado warning in effect until 11 a.m. for Ascension and Iberville parishes and until 11:15 a.m. for Lafourche, St. Charles, St. John, St. James and Assumption Parishes.

Dozens of blocks in a New Orleans neighborhood are now under water.

that really is bad news if that city gets 3 or more inches of rain those levees are going to break god bless all of the people who live in that already crippled city :(

I don't quite understand why the NHC would put more emphasis on this threat.....

they concentrated way too much on Texas in my opinion.

According the TWC, there are 3 breaches now.
This is getting so ugly now. Hopefully the people who did come back, have now left.
