Ophelia should turn soon.

Since it slowed down a lot, it is most likely beginning that turn to the north, then northwest, and fiinally WNW.

yes that seems the case... looks like she is following pretty close to the NHC forecast track... maybe a bit to the east... now that she has an eye it is easier to see what her heading is... here come the wobble posts!

I think she will gradually begin to turn on a more west-northwest or west track, gradually curving more to the west-northwest or northwest once she approaches the coast. North Carolina landfall may be slightly more likely now.
