#1 Postby joe_koehle » Mon Aug 29, 2005 6:22 pm

here in carrollton, ga, there were tornadoes less than 2 miles from my house at about 4:30 pm today as the first feeder band of katrina came through. i took a drive around and the damage is pretty extensive--hundreds of trees down and many houses damaged.

Tornados expected in parts of Eastern Kentucky, West Virginia, and other places in the OH Valley tomorrow as well. Katrina will continue to cause damages through tomorrow night.

We are in the slight risk of severe weather...and are very close to the probablilistic chance of 25% tomorrow. Its going to be a rough day again tomorrow in the OH Valley. My thoughts and prayers are with eveyone down south.
