What happened to the Jackson and Columbus Ms nexrads ?!?!
Please delete, ignore, or insult me if this has already been discussed or dealt with but I can't seem to find anything about it. I fully understand why the New Orleans radar went out and the time it happened. We are lucky it lasted as long as it did. Maybe someone thought it was a good idea to go ahead and cut off the rest of the sites in the line of fire but I have NEVER heard of doing anything like this before, at least in this kind of situation. One would think that as important as the radar data is today that at the very least they would wait until the storm was closer to the sites. Both have been offline since 1432z this morning.

I dunno about the radar but neither station is issuing forecasts, warnings, or statements. Mobile is taking over NOLA and Huntsville is issuing everything for Jackson
Must be some major communication problems
