We have a closed eye agan.... however look at the mileage in the eye... 29miles compared to 35...... there may be somewhat more strengthening as it crosses the delta... 5 mph max

no. it's not going to strengthen. can you not see the dry air getting almost all the way to the eye?
the western side is really falling apart. new orleans is going to see the effects you would see from a cat 1 storm. minor roof damage, some minor flooding, lots of trees down and power outages.
