Hurricane winds approach Lousiana coast

Southwest pass C-Man station reports sustained winds of 65 kt, gusts 70-78 kt.

eye is still 100-130 miles away

Yeah...I believe this is going to be a several long hour process for all in Southeast Louisiana.... Mississippi and Alabama.

met on MSNBC just reported a buoy right off LA coast reporting 80mph sustained and 100mph gust with the northern eyewall still approx 60-70 miles away

Southwest pass last hour 85 mph sustained, max gust 96 mph

any new reading from Southwest Pass, LA or anywhere else for that matter. Apparently AP reported a 107mph wind gust in NO already
