Very Serious Question for Pro's or Amateur Mets...

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Very Serious Question for Pro's or Amateur Mets...

#1 Postby CYCLONE MIKE » Sun Aug 28, 2005 7:32 am

I was looking at the trough on all the satellites that I could find and it does not look to strong. There are weak southerly winds going through west LA/East Texas. With Katrina being a cat 5(wow) is it possible she could fight off that trough, push it back, weaken it whatever and continue more to the NW longer?? I know things like this have been discussed but I can't remeber. Please help me with this!
