He's predicting the worst hurricane since Camille... catastrophe in the making, made a special emergency update... says it could go down to 910 mb, is projecting 155 mph and 920 mb near New Orleans...

Opal storm,
There is historic precedent for what JB is thinking. One need only look up the data for Hurricane #1 (1856). This hurricane passed just 43 miles west-northwest of Katrina. At that time, its maximum sustained winds were a relatively modest 80 mph. At landfall, this storm was a whole different beast.

About 55 miles South-Southeast of Grand Isle... just south of the Mouth of the Mississippi River.
Looks to take it just east...

Only Problem!!
I have with that type of prediction is that I don't feel that anyone should pinpoint a particular city and predict a doomsday scenio. But in his defense, I guess that is what the predicted path and cone is. I guess that he is trying to tell us to prepare for the worst!!!

That should sufficiently crash the U.S. economy this fall. Think of the number of oil rigs that would be wiped out.
Can we all say $5.00 per gallon for regular together?
