Ok, here we go with Katrina. Katrina was officially upgraded around 8am this morning. There has been A LOT of changing around with the center. Recently there has been indications that the center might reform to the N where the recent blob has been expanding. I think the NNW movement at 11am was to account for this possbility. IF** that is the case and it does relocate north, that whole area is pushing to the W or WNW. I do think she will start to really take off later this afternoon if this is the real center and no more relocations take place. I think it will strengthen but, I think its gonna be very close call on a cane vs storm landfall in broward county. I am going to call for a cane due to there is some very warm waters, shear is low, and there is a nice anti-cyclone developing overhead of her. After that, a close to due WEST motion should occur in response to the ridge. once into the gulf intesification seems very likely and a major is def. possible.
