I had been posting updates here http://www.storm2k.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=69774&start=340 :lol:

Irene now appears to move towards NW Scotland, and then moves north after that. Looks like being rather a deep depression for this time of year.

Oops... didn't notice your updates in the other thread. It sure is a rather deep low for mid to late Summer...

Well Iceland is anyway. :lol: This looks to be the first one to head over here though. They were saying gusts of 50-60mph on the west coast of Scotland on the weather forecast this evening for Wednesday. Met Office 48 hour forecast chart
