Congrats on the milestone....someday, I will reach that plateau as well, but I wont hold my breathe cause I might end up 6 feet under ;) Lets see, will I become 30 first or will I reach 1000 posts, that is the questions.

Irene should get the title for being one of the cyclones that has struggle the most to reach hurricane status. Maybe Gordon 1994 has that title.

It will probably be quite awhile before I make it to 1,000. I'm not even to 100 yet, and I mostly do my posting during the weekends(due to my job).. Although I enjoy posting, I read more than I post, because I love to learn and alot of great people on here to learn from.

I think you have the remnants of TD10 to worry about in the near future. Check out the 12Z GFDL model run. The other models should update within the hour.
