Very true, yes we are coming out of a little ice age. So yes we are warming up. We are in another innerglacieral like 1,200 years ago.
I think since El nino is going away, we should have a hard time getting to 7th warmest year for 2007. Maybe it will fall to 8 or 9? But something tells me it might be reversing.

Then why did the IPPC conclude about the Little Ice Age and Medieval Optimum that 'current evidence does not support globally synchronous periods of anomalous cold or warmth over this timeframe, and the conventional terms of “Little Ice Age” and “Medieval Warm Period” appear to have limited utility in describing trends in hemispheric or global mean temperature changes in past centuries.'
