The number of known dead has risen to at least 42 overnight. :(

It's dreadful, really.

I've seen a lot of pictures from the floods in the Alps and its forehills, live in Germany myself, but in the middle and we don't have any sort of extreme weather, I also have friends in a village in Austria which got hit by a huge mudflow. Awful.
