The North Indian Ocean

and the Arabian Sea (including the Bay of Bengal) has a dual mode season. An average of 5.0 cyclones form there annually. The first maximum runs from April into June when on average 1.8 cyclones form.
The second maximum runs from September through December when on
average 3.2 cyclones form. During July and August, the Monsoon Trough is overland and strong monsoon flow exists over the water areas with strong vertical shear so no storms typically form then.

In this Basin, Tropical Cyclones are only numbered and are not given names. Ironically, in the South Indian Ocean, the storms are not only given names but there are more than one Regional Centre naming storms so it's not uncommon for a cyclone to have more than one name down there.
