Let me show you tha amazing spectacle we could enjoy last 10th March... My town is often visited by this kind of clouds, when wind blows from NW strongly and there is a cold front crossing over Spain.

You can see altocumulus lenticularis groups just downstream of Sierra Nevada, in the southern Spain (Granada). I have cut with zoom over the area. The region in which I live, is often visited by this kind of clouds, although it is the first time I see a spectacle like this :
