This is a draft paper written by Ed Mecurio about the solar polarity effect upon galactic cosmic rays and how this may effect different teleconnections. Arctic Oscillation, Pacific Decadal Oscillation, Southern Oscillation Index...maybe even Los Angeles rainfall patterns.
It is not that complicated and it may help somewhat in understanding things in the broad sense regarding solar magnetic cycles. Dice get loaded etc...
