Today is the anniversary of no less than 5 tornado outbreaks in the last 20 years:
1987 - Palestine, Texas destroyed in an outbreak of about 25 tornadoes total, killed 11
1988 - Large outbreak of about 45 tornadoes from Wisconsin to Texas, killed 7
1989 - Huntsville, Alabama slammed by an F4 right into downtown, killed 21 (over 30 died in the whole outbreak across the eastern US)
2005 - The largest of the five, over 50 tornadoes - killed only one person though
2006 - Quite a number of tornadoes in the South from Louisiana to North Carolina, killed 9
A quintuple-anniversary

It is quite interesting, but it wasn't matched this year. (Since they say bad things come in threes, it was kinda surprising)
