If lows in the single digits in north and central AL were not cold enough for you this week get ready for Feb 1st to Feb 6th. This will also bring the best chance of snows further south and west into areas of Texas. After that look for Summer and hurricanes and bugs

I thought temps would be just near freezing later this week! Guess that has changed as it looks like we could possibly get into the teens!! Can you say coldest weather in seven years? I remember we hit 16 in Feb. of 1996.

Thursday Night in Baton Rouge-15 degrees! Still waiting on the LCH office to wake up and put out Lafayette's forecast. This will be one to remember folks, and it came out of seemingly nowhere!
This cold was sitting there all along.

The question was whether or not the high was going to ridge more NW-SE than N-S. Now the models are in agreement that it will be almost a straight N-S ridging right down the LA-TX border or as far W as Houston. Either way it is gonna be COLD wherever you are! :o
Sooooooo
