What caused this?

I saw this on TWC and the NWS confirmed it. Look at the max 6 hour temps for 08 Mar 9:55 am and then again at 08 Mar 3:55 pm. This is for Wenatchee, Pangborn Memorial Airport, WA (KEAT)

It looks like it was a very rapid warm up and cool down because if you look at the Temp column it never shows anything outside of the 50's

Good queation. I don't see anything in the way of wind direction, or sky conditions that really would explain it. Could be something like down slope and/or upslope winds bringing in the temps from elsewhere, but like I said I don't see an opposite change in winds or anything like that.

wow..That would be quite a weird thing to experience. Imagine going to from 45-50 all the way to nearly 90 and then back down to 45-50 within an hour. That would be an amazing contrast if outside!

More likely an error in the data as an 88 degree reading for Wenatchee in early March would be a major heat record.
