In the last few hours I have noticed that the animals have been acting weird. The seagulls have come inland, when they usually stay near the shore. All of the birds in the area are flying very low including the hawks and eagles. The ducks are being very cautious and have remained near the pond when this is the normal eating time. There is a fruit rat in my window sil, the last time that happened was during hurricane Dennis (2005.) My cat was sniffing the air and meowing more than usual. The flowers are all closing and the bees and lizards are hidden.

all of this seems strange to me.l

could also have something to do with the lunar eclipse for tomorrow...
The moon will turn shades of amber and crimson Saturday night as it passes behind the Earth's shadow in the first total lunar eclipse in three years.

The eclipse will be at least partly visible from Asia to the Americas, although those in Europe, Africa and the Middle East will have the best view.

Lunar eclipses occur when Earth passes between the sun and the moon, blocking the sun's light. The event is rare because the moon spends most of its time either above or below the plane of Earth's orbit.
Although it will pass completely under Earth's shadow, light from the sun will still reach the moon after being refracted through Earth's atmosphere, giving the moon an eerie dark reddish tinge.

Earth's shadow will begin moving across the moon at 3:18 p.m. EST Saturday, with the total eclipse occurring at 5:44 p.m. EST and lasting more than an hour.

Observers in eastern North America (including Canada) and South America will find the moon already partially or totally eclipsed by the time it rises over the horizon Saturday evening.

The next total lunar eclipse will occur Aug. 28/07.

Your animals will always tell you when changes are approaching. You have to learn to read them.
Over the years, you will watch them and learn their behaviour when certain things happen. When
they act strange, keep your head up to the skies!

My pets always freak out before a hurricane or a storm hits,it's weird how they can sense that kind of stuff.Also before bad weather birds and squirrels run back up into the trees.

Oh, absolutely! Our little doggie was acting strangely (tail down and very "clingy") Thurs. AM before we headed off to work and school. I hated leaving the little guy there when he was in such a state. Then, that afternoon during the storm, he was whimpering and kept pacing among the 4 of us as we waited out the tornado warning in our hallway. He definitely knew that bad weather was coming before any warnings were issued.
