Severe weather outbreak? No longer likely
SPC now suggesting there could be a major severe weather outbreak across the South into the Ohio Valley this weekend. The lining up of the fronts and moisture is key.

Yeah. The SPC is still bullish for this weekend, with Sunday the peak day of activity.

Severe weather doesn't appear to be the main concern now..
It appears flooding could be quite bad.
From the Little Rock AFD
---
AT THIS POINT...LOOKING FOR 4 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN...WITH LOCALLY
UP TO 8 INCHES. SHOULD THIS OCCUR...WILL NOT ONLY HAVE FLASH
FLOODING...BUT RIVER FLOODING AS WELL. COULD BE A 25 TO 50 YEAR
EVENT IF AMOUNTS VERIFY.
