SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORT WORTH TX
1158 AM CDT FRI JUL 11 2003

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
ANDERSON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST TEXAS

* UNTIL 100 PM CDT

* AT 1158 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THAT EXTENDED FROM 28 MILES NORTHEAST OF
PALESTINE TO 30 MILES EAST OF ELKHART...MOVING WEST AT 25 MPH.

* THESE STORMS WILL BE NEAR PALESTINE AROUND 1255 PM.


HAIL TO THE SIZE OF DIMES AND WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH ARE LIKELY. FOR
YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO A STURDY SHELTER UNTIL THE STORM PASSES.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING AND
STAY INSIDE...AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.

The SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for Anderson County has expired.

However, a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for Leon County until 2:00PM CDT
