It is already at or around 70 (depending on how you round) here in my area. Right now my temp is 69.9°. So it is basically 70 anyway. It is 9:05 AM as I type this portion of this thread. The local mets say that it is going to be very warm through the 4th; then it will slowly cool down.
(I like the warm weather.)

Not Too Bad Here
Highs in the mid to high 90's or maybe around 100F through the weekend with possible high based boomers from the 4th on.

You know the phrase... it's all relative... I am just curious Joshua what "hot" is in Southern California where you are. I know it varies from place to place. Just trying to get a little perspective...

I lived in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa at the Bristol/South Coast Plaza Exit between the I-405(San Diego Fwy)and 55(Newport Bch Fwy) in 1980 and 81.
My offices were accros MacCarthur Blvd from the 'John Wayne Airport' in Newport Beach...I recall driving to an appt in Huntington Bch and Torrance
off the 405 when temps were 100+ at 10am!!!!!!!!!No Sh!T!
Santa Anas baby!
My ex wife(CJ) and 2 of my 3 sons are headed to Carlsbad(N San Diego)early tomorrow(MON) from TUS...they have to leave at like 3am to beat the heat of the AZ/CA Desert N of Yuma and Mexicali.
NW TUS Currently:102F R17%/wind L/V Smoke/Haze and it's 8:30 pm!Yuck!

I Was in San Diego Once
when it was 107F at the Airport in the middle of the Bay during a Santa Ana. The city dodged a bullet that day as there were no big fires.

Sorry, I live in Huntington Beach, I just had to do that.

Anyway, being that this area is only about 4 miles from the beach; anything above 80 is warm for us.
