Heavy rain here

In New Castle County, Delaware, all this morning, since 7:30 hrs or so. Is this due to the Hurricane? There are flash flood watches posted till 1130 hrs this morning. Coming down unbelievably heavy at times. Really the first rains we have had in weeks and weeks.
