Kentucky weather?

I'm in the Pensacola, Florida area right now but will be moving right outside of Lexington, Kentucky in the middle of September. (That is, if no hurricanes slow us down.) Are any of yall from Kentucky or close by? Tell me about your climatology. I've had plenty of heat for some time and am ready to experience more of the 4 seasons.
