"Brrrr!" 56° with rain!

This IS August, correct? "BRRRRrrrr!" I've got the FORCED AIR ON

I CANNOT BELIEVE this........we had one HEL* of a boomer, 1.23" of rain in 48 minutes with dime sized hail and NOW, it's DOWN right CHILLY!!!

Dropped into the upper 50's down here as well when those boomers went through this morning. We picked up "only" 0.74in this morning. We now have 2.87in of rain for the weekend. Today's high is only going to be in the 70's.

Yep.. The first big cold front of August is clearing things out in the northern flatlands as well..low 40's in wisconsin even.. Ahhh I remember those refreshing breezes from Canada..sounds dreamy from here.

I think you've topped our record in Texas. Back in 1997, temps in late July got as high as 63*F with rain.

Send some of that chilly air down our way. It is sweltering in New Orleans. You can't stand to walk outside. In the 90's here already this morning.

About this time a year ago our low dropped to 58 degrees! Tied an all time record low for August, it was amazing to have in the dead of summer!

yesterday night it was forcasted that some where is the rockies (not sure where) it dipped into the 30's!!!!!!!!!

That is not at all unusual for the High Country in the West. Truckee CA and Stanley ID frequently come in with low temperatures not only in the 30's during the Summer but often below freezing.
