TS Warning Just To My North....Will It Ever Reach Me?

#1 Postby southerngale » Mon Jun 02, 2003 3:58 pm

It has actually been overcast here for a lot of the day...back and forth with sunny skies. So far, not a drop of rain here but we are finally able to see rain on a local radar. Hey, that's something!!! Well over a month since we've had ANY rain!! Wish us luck down here guys.

Pick me up off the floor....I just heard thunder in the distance. :o

They just updated our local forecast...

40% chance thunderstorms for Friday/Saturday

Things are looking up in extreme Southeast Texas.:D What are the locals saying in Houston?

Looks like a 50 percent chance of rain tonight, a 30 percent chance of rain Tuesday, a 20 percent chance of rain for Tuesday night, 30 percent for Wednesday, 20 percent for Wednesday night and a 30 percent chance for Thursday.

But so far, here in the Woodlands, it's just cloudy--I haven't seen any rain yet.

But I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I would rather have our rainfall return via two weeks of rainy weathr than I would have it all come in 12 hours.
