WHEW! O'TAY.....I said I wouldn't complain, I'm just getting CLOSE to complaining "LOL!" I hit 92° here at the house yesterday, a record by the books, the OFFICIAL high for Show Low Muni was 89°. NOW.......get this, Phoenix hit 111 :o :o BUT.......and here we go AGAIN with that BIG BUT......forecasters are saying that the next 4 weeks could be the HOTTEST since records have been kept :o Channel 5 and Channel 3 outta Phoenix said this a.m. that they expect a week or so of temps, are you ready for THIS ONE??? A stretch of 115° to "120°" :o :o :o :o :o

BTW, it's 1010 MST and I'm at 83.8° :o

Nope SG - I need some excitement in the weather - its been so boring for me lately. BUT - I'm not -removed-. Afternoon seabreeze showers would be sufficent.

Are you in the mountains,Dennis? I don't care what they say. Hot is hot no matter how dry it is. Looks like they would come up with AC suits for the general public to wear.

This has been the most boring streak of weather I can remember for south Louisiana. No more than a 20% chance of rain for the next 7 days yuck!

Yes Deb, I'm at 7200' in elevation, our normal high for this date is 72° so as you can see, we are WAY above normal BUT fear not my fellow Zonians, it's appose to COOL down some 10°, only one problem, we sacrifice the temps for more humditiy, OH GOODIE! JUST KIDDING!

Well.....the truth is that we do have DRY heat in late May and June. We were at 109 today with humidity of 8%.

Dust storm skirting the area tonight only drops temps to the 90-degree mark or so after dark.

No one ever said it wasn't hot in Phoenix, but oh those other 8 months are enjoyable.

Oh geez Dennis - 115°-120° down here??? That's approaching the record of 122°.
TWC progs us for 110° on Monday - and you're right guys,
we can cook ON the car, IN the car or on the pavement, it
doesn't matter. There are many people out here who
use solar ovens, solar water heaters, solar collectors for power -
which I have studied and will also use. Just have to ensure the CC&Rs
don't restrict solar collectors or panels up on the roofs. There are
good brands that are shiny and flat like (black) glass and these
are the best solar cells for storing/using and reselling extra power
back to the electric companies if your house is wired correctly.
It's a big goal of mine to use nature's renewable resource instead
of nuke power; hydroelectric is better so I will go with that until
I'm able to convert. Why waste all this great Sun? 8-)
