The morning radar loops from New Orleans and Mobile indicate that a squall line is stalling along the gulf coast. This could potentially produce a significant rainfall event. So much for attending the extreme weather fair at Stennis International Airport in Kiln. Currently it is raining cats and dogs, snakes and frogs.....MGC

Good call ... the line got hung up and has produced estimated 3"-5" rainfalls earlier today.

The central gulf coast has been hogging all the heavy rain events this year! We actually received .64" here, more than I expected since our rain chances were pretty low. We could still use the rain but at least we've been getting some moisture lately.
