If you live near Kansas City, keep your ear to the WX radio, as it looks as if there may be a severe weather outbreak in NE Kansas and NW Missouri today. Things seem to be coming together really well for NE Kansas.
I'm a bit worried about Kansas City, given the population density of the very real possibility of a tornado in the area today.

Been there, done that. 5/4/03.
I am glad that I'm not in that area at the moment (in Pittsburgh), but I'm going to keep a nervous eye on various websites this afternoon as this develops.
