Sure enough it is heading SSE. This was mentioned in the Tropical Discussion 2 days ago. It is what is going to give the S2k FL contingent some good rains over the next day or two. And what do we get in TX? Clear skies, 95.4ยบ high and sunburn. :x :roll:

Vbhoutex, I know its getting discouraging around here as far as rainfall goes but it looks like we will have a pretty good chance of getting some tuesday night and into wednesday with a late season front. Hopefully this chance comes through for us because if not it looks like it will be dry again through next weekend.

It doesn't help when you need rainfall when you on the subsident side of this upper low - punching dry air into itself and has Eastern TX, and most all of Louisiana within this dry veil...

This cutoff pattern doesn't show any imminent signs of breaking, either.
