Morning. I am trying to figure this out..and hopefully someone here will be able to help me out. With all of the severe weather that has happened since this past weekend, until now...and what looks to continue for a few more days...would this be considered one long severe weather event that started this past weekend and is ongoing, or would it be seperate events. How would one be able to break this up since it seems to just continue over and over again? I have been trying to figure this out now for a day or so now, and any help that I could get, I would appreciate it. What are your thoughts about this? I hope everyone stays safe during this and that areas that have been continued to be hit over and over again, will finally get a few days to dry out and begin to the long process of cleaning up and getting things back to normal.

I addressed this in my thread w/re to Sikeston,et al.
The Tornado Outbreak by Climotolgical Terms of sheer numbers of Tornadoes since the beginning of the 'event' is now ranked 4th.With the likely continuation of Sev Wx today and the next 48+hrs,it could concieveably eclipse the #3 Spot.
It is all associated with Wx conditions that have refired, backbuilt and coincided. Therefore,it is considered one event.
Good question Tom.Have a Great Day.
