We got about 1-3 inches of snow last night here in Watertown, and it is still snowing out. But with highs in the 40s Thursday, it won't last long. Where is spring????

Tonight's ECMWF for Day 3 - indicates a very interesting scenario with a 997mb low just off the VA coast, and a second 1002mb low back in Georgia. -- The first low moves up to Maine on Day 4 at 999mb - can we say potential SECL (Noreaster) in Late April? --- ECMWF seems to think so.
The second low in Georgia moves off the Carolina Coast (weakening to 1009mb - and/or is being replaced by a secondary low). Potential severe weather for the Southeast this weekend?

That would be nice to see a rare April nor'easter for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

The chances of showers and thunderstorms across central Florida for the second half of the five day forecast... but the chances have diminshed a little bit each day.

Perhaps one of these next systems will bring Floridian's some much needed rainfall; after our interestingly wet March, we could use some rare April thunderstorms across the Sunshine State. :)
