Too bad I can't get these ULL's in the dead of winter ...

Good thing it's cold, otherwise a tremendous severe weather outbreak would have likely occurred.

I noticed this system has nice spin after midnight (ET), this morning. Pressure readings and trends were impressive in the region of this spinning, too.

It is amazing to see this low, Tom.
Amazing also how organized and cut off it is as well for this time of year.
Also amazing, that I've bearly had any measurable rain (drizzle) but just 30 miles West and NW of me, 1"-3" of rain and even a lot more in Barnwell County (with as much as 6" of rain) - awesome exactly what a deformation band (zone) can do.

If we were still in February or March, we might be looking at a decent snow storm here! We were sitting at 41 most of the day, and now it is 45. Cold day for April!

Exactly. 41-45 in the daytime in January is below average. BRRR!
Maybe next winter, we'll get one of these ULL's with enough cold air to produce the long-awaited blockbuster snowstorm.

I think I will go to the mountains again next year since mother nature keeps giving us the cold shoulder! :grr: Winter skipped most of GA and SC this year, and stayed in TN and NC. :x Well, maybe we will get lucky who knows? Stay warm Mike!

Winter didn't avoid us in regards to frigid temperatures, but the moisture sure did!...*LOL*.

Now that March and April arrived ... Who opened the flood gates?...
Geez, since March 1st - I've picked up 13.09"...or approximately 250% of normal ... yikes! :o

South of this amazing upper level low is this chilly current temperature of 53 degrees at my location here in Florida. Sure feels like winter here, too.
