Great time to be at home watching it on the front porch. I did that yesterday - while I was at home sick when the storms moved through. Sit on the screened porch with a blanket and watch it blow in. Storms were moving fast - so they didn't last long.

Stay safe Bfez and keep us updated.

you have a screened in porch----great way to watch the stormy weather
When I win the lottery I want a big house on the lake so I can sit on the back porch and watch the waves roll in

Yes Bfez - that was one of the things that sold me on this house. By no means is it a mansion - three bedroom two bath - house on blocks - but its out in the boonies and allows me to watch mother nature in all her glory.

Oh boy, the thought of the rain from Mississippi coming to my area in the next day. :D A lot of rain is expected, now 53 days until the end of the dry season.

The cold front was expected to slow down as of a few days ago, I don't believe that has changed... it does look like the precipitation over the Louisiana/Missisippi area is moving rapidly (than it could). With the expectations for 2 inches or so expected, it will probably have to slow down some.
