No April Fool's Joke either (I was going to play one, but decided against it)
Starting Day 6 and into Day 7 last night's ECMWF, shows a 1047mb HIGH builds down from Eastern Canada and sends a backdoor CF down the east side of the Appalachians. Day 7 ECMWF from last Night (3-31-03) showing a VERY STRONG HIGH IN EASTERN CANADA (RANGING FROM 1048MB-1052MB) wedging down the east side of the Appalachians.
Day 6 SLP

Day 7 SLP

RH 90%-100% along a warm front/backdoor cold front extending from the surface low in Missouri wedging down into the Carolinas next Monday.

Bottom line, another unseasonably cold rain in the Carolinas next week.
