2004 Off to a Dry Start in Washington, DC

To date, Washington, DC (National Airport) has received just 11.65" of precipitation for the year. Should it receive less than 0.68", the January-May 2004 period would rank as among the 14-20 driest such periods on record.

Yeah..but strong storms will be comming into the Washington area soon and hopefully it will help with the below normal rain amounts. But we dont want any flooding, thats what bad about those thunderstorms.
