Weather Highlights for May 18

Severe weather occurrences this afternoon include.............
--1-inch hail fell 4 miles north of Brighton, Illinois.
--Large trees were toppled in Peoria, Illinois.
--Winds gusted to 74 mph in Hilliard, Ohio.
--A vehicle was blown off the road a mile north of Cayuga, Indiana.
--A tornado touched down near Washington, Illinois.
--Flash flooding occurred near New Philadelphia, Ohio.
--Power outages occurred near Woodville, Alabama.
--Numerous trees were downed in Laurel, Maryland.
--1.5-inch hail damaged a storm spotters vehicle 10 miles west of
Kentland, Illinois.
--Trees were damaged by strong winds in the Siddonsburg,
Pennsylvania, area. Appreciable rainfall due to
thunderstorm activity as of Tuesday evening........

I am not sure that there is enough room to post the events after tommorro night. It is going to be interesting to say the least.

I haven't been this concerned about an outbreak like this since *gulp* May 4th of last year. I hope I am wrong.

I agree, it is really nothing to laugh at. It is really looking serious. I am planning to keep a close eye on things.

I believe part of the J Squared Chase Team may be in action tomorrow. I will keep you posted on developments.
