Nice radar pic Stormsfury! Hopefully the northern suburbs of GA will not getting any tornadoes. The temp dropped from 61 to 59 with a dewpoint of 59.

Be on your guard there in Marietta. I used to have a friend that moved there about 17 years ago. I don't know if him and his family are still there, though. Lost contact with them.

I have to thank wrkh99 for the radar link (above) with the 1km resolution.
Also there's STORMLAB, but those aren't free (like $100) but it's the best radar system available with storm info and everything.

Hey Stormsfury,

Did your friend play in a band? Just wondering since I know someone who used to be in a big rock band here in the late 80's and early 90's. Anyway, looks really interesting here now. I am keeping my eyes glued to the radar!

No. This was when both myself and him were around 11 years old or so.
I've seen reports posted by JetMaxx of ping-pong to tennis-ball sized hail in Roanoke, Alabama and west of Franklin, GA.

It's only beginning and I think it's going to continue to intensify tonight.

Nice radar pics storm!

Huff

Thanks, Huff.
