Colorado, Wharton, and Jackson Counties are all under severe thunderstorm warnings until 4:45 am cdt. A bow echo with damaging winds are expected with a line of thunderstorms rolling through these counties. Houston and Galveston need to be on the lookout for this squall line this morning. Damaging winds up to 80 mph are possible with this line of storms. Hence a severe thunderstorm watch is up this morning for all of southeast Texas including the Houston area.

The worst of it went to our North. We're getting the rain and some gusts but that is about it with a few rumbles thrown in. We'll see what this afternoon brings.

Unless it can clear up soon the severe storms may not set in. Alot of rain and clouds this morning which should keep the atmosphere capped unless there is a break soon. Other then that it does look like alot of rain down that way for now.

It's looking like things could get interesting here in a few hours. There's a squall line redeveloping to our west over Lake Charles slowly moving eastward and it's currently sunny, warm and very humid. Hopefully nothing gets severe this afternoon but I have a feeling the atmosphere is ripe.

Rain has finally moved out for the time being. It rained all morning, but never got heavy. However it now looks like we may get enough destabilization, especiallly to our west to bring in more storms tonight with heavy rainfall. FFWatch till tomorrow morning now.

Looks like things are getting busy in the Houston area. I've recieved about 1.25" of rain so far with this event.
